This year we will focus especially on the following types of education:
- Mastery learning of the most important materials
- Enrichment and student choice of supplemental materials and methods
- Brain training in how to think deeply, study intelligently and decide wisely
- Character training, including:
- Bible memory work
- Methods of finding truth
- A relationship with God through surrender and trust in Him
- Service and mission opportunities
- Work habits training, including
- Learning to set priorities, plan and prepare
- Efficiency training
- Practice and coaching techniques
- Training for carefulness and thoroughness
- Techniques to control focus and attention
- Methods to maximize effort
- How to persevere and encourage one's self
This curriculum is very strong and not many schools specialize in this.

PHILOSOPHY:
Education at Ardmore Adventist Academy is based on the belief that each student is unique and of inestimable value, and that education involves not just learning academic subjects, but the development of the whole person. We strive to provide students with an education that will help them live successfully and productively in this life and ultimately fit them for heaven. Through spiritual, physical, academic, and social programs, we offer opportunities for our students to cultivate an experiential relationship with God, take an active role in making the community a better place, appreciate and utilize the cultural and scientific advantages of the age, and develop a personal sense of who they are and how they can contribute to the lives of others. In essence, we are equipping children for now and for eternity.
